Why Does Every Writing & Publishing Question Have the Same Answer?

Most authors who work with Blue Horizon Communications are interested in creating a well-structured and engaging book manuscript. But they’re also interested in something else.

  • “Is my book idea any good?” they ask.
  • “How can I get published?”
  • “Would an agent be interested in my book?”
  • “Will my book become a bestseller – with maybe a movie adaptation, too?”
  • Finally, some ask, “Is this whole book thing worthwhile for me? I mean, really?”

For all these questions, there is only one answer.

It all depends on you.    And a little luck.

Mostly, though, it depends on you.

Because the critical core of the book writing process involves two basic things:

  • Cultivating a strong vision for your book.
  • Doing the day-by-day, focused work of making that vision a reality.

The same basics — strong vision and daily focus — apply to publishing and promoting your book, too.

Becoming a published author isn’t, as some think, like winning the lottery. It’s not magic, in the sense of having little to do with you or your effective effort. Writing and publishing a book has everything to do with you — and your consistent, effectively focused effort.

So the real question is:  How committed are you to doing the work your book project requires?

While you think about your book commitment, let’s go back to the beginning.

The fact that your book’s success “depends on you,” while completely true, is a generalized answer to the questions authors most often have.

A more nuanced answer needs to fit you, specifically.

To get a specific-to-you answer, fill in the Contact Us information (there’s another link in the menu above), and we’ll set up your initial, free, and confidential phone consultation, once we receive your emailed form.

During a fifteen-minute phone conversation, you’ll get an answer to your most pressing book question — an answer that fits you and you alone.
